I grew up in the Panhandle and I’ve been doing taxes here for thirty years. In that time the industry has gone from paper to e-file to AI-assisted prep. What hasn’t changed is what people actually want at tax time: a real person who picks up the phone, who explains things in plain English, and who is still there in August when the IRS sends a letter.
